Yogi Bear (3D)

Yogi Bear (3D) is the big screen, semi live action adaptation of Hanna-Barbera's much loved cartoon which most people will happily admit was a bit crap. It stars Dan Aykroyd as Yogi and Justin Timberlake as Boo-Boo alongside real life humans including Anna Faris, Tom Cavanagh and Andrew Daly. The film takes a rather serious angle by teaching kiddies people who cut down trees are bad and fat, stupid bears who go around teefing food are good. Where I come from if an animal tried to steal your grub you'd shank that bitch and feed it to the pigeons.

But I digress, despite being 23 years younger than Who Framed Roger Rabbit? the animation and humans mesh like oil and water and the humour is simpler than Cletus The Slack Jawed Yokel. Clearly this is not a film aimed at 25 year old women but I doubt many kids would give a flying blueberry pie about this crap. Having said all that, Yogi Bear (3D) is not as bad as I thought it was going to be but it's still pretty bad.

P.S. The film does not conclusively prove that all good things come in bears. You'll have to have a Google and find out for yourself.
