LFF: Bertolucci on Bertolucci

It takes a person of quite some character to hold the attention of an audience for two hours, and Bernardo Bertolucci is one of those people. This documentary looking at the life and career of the legendary Italian director uses various interviews he's given over the last 50 years and is an insightful and sporadically entertaining film. You would expect the film to be edited chronologically but it's not and is slightly frenetic but somehow it works but admittedly it wouldn't if the subject wasn't as charming and interesting as Bertolucci; he's the kind of person you could watch, and crane your neck to understand, all day.
